Transfer of Care
Changing home healthcare providers shouldn’t be stressful. We make the transfer process simple, seamless, and worry-free. If you’re currently receiving home healthcare services through another agency under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA), you have the right to choose the provider that best meets your needs.
A Transfer of Care occurs when an EEOICPA beneficiary chooses to receive authorized home healthcare services from a different Department of Labor-enrolled agency. Under the EEOICPA, you have the freedom to choose your providers. A transfer can typically be completed without interrupting your approved services, as the new provider coordinates with your current agency and the U.S. Department of Labor to ensure continuity of care.
